Sketches

Line Drawings

Thanks to the Ben Flegg for sending us a couple sketches made all or in part with our line drawing javascript experiment.

Many Lines

There has been a ton of buzz around this HTML 5 and canvas stuff. It's a technique gaining support in the developer and browser community. I've always kind of liked Javascript so it's been a lot of fun learning and experimenting with it can do now. I put up another example project. This one does some drawing with a particle system that follows the mouse. I included some controls and the source files in case your interested in that kind of thing.

Unfortunately I only have screenshots for our IE viewers. I added ExplorerCanvas support but rendering that many particles is too much for IE to handle.

Drawing Lines and Arcs

I've been learning about this HTML5 canvas stuff. I put some super simple particle drawing examples online. It's a lot of fun, but right now it's just for Firefox and Safari.

Airship

We recently added a bomb-dropping airship to our homepage (click on the bomb in the hull to drop it). Here's a demo of it with just a bunch of debri.

Sea Serpent

(This post uses the Adobe Flash Player.)

We've been making some toys, experiments and illustrations to eventually use on a redesign of adaptedstudio.com. This little sea serpent is kind of fun, you can grab click it and throw the sea serpent around. It's one of my first experiments with the Box2D physics library.

Particle Type 2

I was kicking around some ideas for things made of dots again and opened up a version of this Particle Type Toy we showed at our open house. This time it excepts live input so you can type in it. I think it's more fun. Anyway, enjoy.

Chickens Chasing Cats Chasing Fish

I finally gave away the last of these cards that I made two years ago when I moved to New York. I'm not reordering the cards but I still like the pattern.

Particle Type

I dusted off an old Flash project after Matt and I sketched some dynamic logotypes over lunch. Not exactly a finished idea but possibly a start. Any feedback on this one would be welcome.
